The Raw Food Diet Miracle

I want to tell you about the miracles of the raw food diet. I thought I would always be sick and would always have to take medicine but I was wrong. I have been on the raw food diet for a very short time and I have already seen amazing results.

What is the raw food diet? It is eating fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts, and seeds that have not been cooked. The reason for not cooking the food is to preserve the enzymes, vitamins, and minerals in the food. The idea is to get bad processed food out of your diet and fresh and living food in.

My body is healing from many diseases and I am currently off all of my medications. I am feeling better and better everyday. Not only am I healing but I am also losing a lot of weight which is just an added bonus! The more I research the raw food diet the more I find other miracle stories. People are healing from all kinds of sickness. I can't wait to see what other benefits I am going to have the longer I am on this diet.

At first I thought I was going to be limited to just fruits and salads all the time. I was completely wrong! It is truly amazing what can be made with raw foods. Any type of cooked dish can be duplicated into a raw dish. I encourage anyone who wants to heal from a disease, lose weight, or just feel incredible to give this a try. I am no expert but I want to get this information out to help people! Hooray for raw foods....lol

Here are two examples below of two raw food dishes that I have tried recently .  They are both amazing and they are quick and easy to make.

Not Tuna Pate' (by: Jennifer Cornbleet)(From her Raw Food Made Easy Book)

1/2 cup soaked raw sunflower seeds

1/4 cup soaked raw almonds

2 TBS. water

1 TBS. fresh lemon juice

1/4 tsp. salt

1 1/2 TBS. minced celery

1 TBS. minced onion

1 TBS. minced parsley

Place sunflower seeds, almonds, water, lemon juice, and salt in food processor with the s-blade and process into paste.  Stop occasionally to scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula.  Add celery, onion and parsley and pulse briefly just to mix.  Stored in a sealed container in refrigerator it will keep for one week.

Donut Holes (by: Ani Pyho)(from her Ani's Raw Kitchen book)

1 cup dry almonds

1/4 tsp. sea salt

1 vanilla bean scraped

1 cup dried pineapple chopped

1 cup pitted dates chopped

5 TBS. dried shredded coconut

Place Almonds and salt in food processor and chop lightly.  Add the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and mix together well.  Take the almond mixture and pour into bowl with the rest of the ingredients and mix all well.  Now take the mixture and roll into balls.

Congratulations on getting healthier. Maybe you can share some recipes with us as to how you are combining these raw foods other than simply salads?
